Nature conservation of Svenstrup Kær
Nature preservation of Svenstrup Kær 8th April 2017
Saturday 8th of April at 9.30 a.m. – the parking lot by Fosdalvej at the foot of Lien cliff.
Come and take part in the preservation of the wonderful nature at Svenstrup Kær. Here the light-demanding and rare vegetation needs a helping hand in the fight against the bigger, shady plants – especially willow and reed. We wish to create more light and space for i.a. the areas fine orchid fauna.
The preservation will take place with lopping shears, saw and scythe and anyone can take part. People with experience in nature preservation can offer help and instructions in preservation and use of equipment.
All the necessary tools will be present for those in attendance as well as provisioning in the form of hot coffee/tea and a bite to eat.
Bring warm clothing, cloves and boots as the area is moist.
Enrolment is not required.
The arrangement is a collaboration between Danmarks Naturfredningsforening and Jammerbugt municipality in the context of the RigKilde LIFE project.
